I’m Babacar, the owner and main photographer of Lunar Lens Studios. I’m a passionate part-time photographer and full-time dreamer, working hard to turn my love for photography into a thriving business that enriches the lives of those I serve.
While my primary income comes from my role as a kids' counselor, my heart is fully set on growing my photography business.
This journey hasn’t been easy, but my faith in God has kept me grounded and determined. He’s been my guide through every challenge, reminding me of the purpose behind this passion and giving me the strength to keep going. My ultimate goal is to build a sustainable career that supports my family and allows me to positively impact the community around me.

My journey with photography started with my family and stepdad. Wherever we went, we ALWAYS had a disposable camera—or a digital one as times changed—in hand. It was a way to capture every memory, big or small.
In high school, I took a photography class, but it wasn’t until years later, rediscovering old photos, that I felt drawn back to this passion. That moment reignited my dream and set me on the path I’m on today.
Over the last 5 years, I’ve explored every type of photography gig I could, refining my skills and discovering my style. Branding photography became my calling because I’ve always had a heart for helping people. Through my own journey of building a brand, I realized so many others share the same desire but often don’t have the tools or guidance to bring their vision to life. I’m here to fill that gap, offering support and creativity to help entrepreneurs tell their stories through impactful imagery.

WHen He's not snapping, HE enjoys...
As an introvert, I gravitate toward activities that provide peace and recharge me, like camping, hiking, or watching the Texans dominate (Go Texans!) on Sundays. I’m also a foodie, which means I have a love-hate relationship with editing food photography—getting hungrier with every mouthwatering detail I refine 🤤
