Hey there!
I’m Babacar, the owner and main photographer of Lunar Lens Studios.
I’m a passionate part-time photographer and full-time dreamer, working hard to turn my love for photography into a thriving business that enriches the lives of those I serve.
While my primary income comes from my role as a kids' counselor, my heart is fully set on growing my photography business.
I’m pouring everything into building a sustainable career that supports my family, with the ultimate goal of making photography my primary vocation. Through my work, I aim to eventually make a positive impact on the community around me.

My journey with photography stemmed from my family and stepdad. Whenever we went anywhere, we ALWAYS had a disposable camera, or digital camera as times went on, in hand.
I took a photography class in high school, but it wasn’t until years later, when I rediscovered those old photos, that I felt drawn back to this passion. That moment reignited my desire to pursue this dream.
Over the last four years, I’ve taken on just about every type of photography gig I could, exploring different styles and refining my skills. Recently, I’ve found a deep passion for helping entrepreneurs build brands they’re proud of through imagery, and working with professionals who want to stand out.
My approach to photography is rooted in authenticity, creativity, and attention to detail.

Outside of photography, I’m a guy with a lot of passions. I’m a huge football fan, and there’s nothing like cheering on my favorite team, the Houston Texans. (especially since last season, SUPER BOWL BABY!)
Though I’m an introvert and homebody at heart, I love getting out into nature and going camping whenever I can. I also find peace in diving into a good manga, reading a book, playing with my dog, or just kicking back with a great movie.
